IN HONOR OF THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT VICTORY
LIBRARIES AS WITNESSES OF THE GREAT VICTORY
About the Project
Our project is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, one of the most pivotal chapters in world history.
National libraries of Russia and other participating CIS countries preserve the history of all humanity through their collections of books, printed works, and manuscripts. But most importantly, they safeguard the unique memories of those who witnessed the events of the past.
«Libraries: Witnesses to Victory» are stories of the joyous moment of Victory, courageously fought for by allied nations standing as a united front.
«Libraries: Witnesses to Victory» is a project about human destinies, heroism, and the unimaginable courage of our ancestors.
History is shaped by ordinary people who became true heroes of their time. May they forever remain heroes in the memory of generations. Let us remember that our strength lies in unity, and only through unity are we invincible!
